Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Greater Monroe, LA Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for budget management and financial strategy, including the preparation and submission of operating and capital outlay budgets, and the development, implementation, and monitoring of institutional budgets. The successful candidate will also provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team, oversee treasury operations, and ensure adequate cash flow and investment maximization. Additionally, the CFO will be in charge of financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and will serve as the primary coordinator for the College's financial audits. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a minimum of a master's degree in business or a related field, or a CPA certificate, and at least five years of experience in a senior-level financial position. Experience in higher education and with Ellucian Banner is preferred. The role requires a professional with a strong background in financial management, a deep understanding of financial regulations and standards, and the ability to maintain current professional and technical knowledge. The CFO will also be expected to have excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
