Associate Vice President, Project Finance

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President in Project Finance to conduct credit analysis and oversee an existing portfolio of project finance, infrastructure, syndicated, energy, and leveraged lending loans. Responsibilities include identifying emerging risks, conducting ongoing credit reviews, monitoring problem and watch-list accounts, and coordinating critical account information with relevant internal stakeholders. The role also involves tracking maturing loans and renewals and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Candidates should have at least eight years of relevant experience in structured or leveraged finance, preferably within a financial institution or a credit- or risk-related function. They should bring strong credit analysis and risk management skills, experience assessing project finance transactions, and the ability to evaluate complex financial models, repayment capacity, loan documentation, and structural risks. Knowledge of U.S. regulatory requirements is required; familiarity with Japanese regulations and experience in aviation or other structured finance are advantageous. A bachelor’s degree is required, while a postgraduate finance degree or professional qualification such as CA or CFA is preferred. Strong communication, numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are also essential.
