Chair of the Department of Entrepreneurship & Applied Business

The Company is seeking a Chair for the Department of Entrepreneurship and Applied Business. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, fostering excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service, and will be responsible for the academic and administrative leadership of the department. This role involves maintaining faculty responsibilities, leading academic program development, assessment, and continuous improvement, as well as managing departmental budgets and resources. The Chair will also be expected to promote collaboration among faculty, students, and university partners, and to support student success while building relationships with alumni, employers, and the community. Applicants for the Chair position must have a terminal degree in a relevant discipline, a strong record of research and scholarly achievements, and the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships. The ideal candidate will have prior academic leadership experience, particularly in a multidisciplinary environment, and a proven track record in developing and growing academic programs. Experience in promoting student success, particularly in experiential learning and industry interactions, is highly valued. The role requires a candidate with the ability to manage departmental budgets effectively, supervise and support faculty and staff, and advocate for the department both internally and externally.
