Interim Pre-College Head of Activities

The Company is seeking a Pre-College Head of Activities to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and oversight of developmentally appropriate and engaging student activities, ensuring the efficient implementation of all events throughout the summer. This role involves supervising a team of Activity Assistants, working closely with residential staff, and planning both choice-based and group events that align with the company's mission and values. The Head of Activities is expected to lead with enthusiasm, create and implement internal communication strategies, and design systems for student selection of activities. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to establish a rapport with staff and students and to adapt to ensure optimal, safe student experiences. Applicants for the Pre-College Head of Activities position at the company should possess at least a bachelor’s degree, have extensive residential life and/or summer program experience, and demonstrate leadership, recreation, or team-building experience. Cultural sensitivity awareness and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion are also required.
