Associate Chairperson, Natural Sciences

The Company is seeking an Associate Chairperson to support leadership of student-centered programs in the natural sciences. Responsibilities include recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating adjunct faculty; coordinating course schedules, curriculum updates, and assessment; and advising students and helping resolve academic concerns. The role also supports laboratory operations, safety and regulatory compliance, budgets, grants, strategic planning, and partnerships that strengthen student recruitment, transfer, and workforce pathways. The Associate Chairperson will represent the department on committees and contribute to continuous improvement. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a natural sciences discipline, have at least two years of college-level teaching experience and one year of administrative or supervisory experience, and demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The position also requires computer proficiency and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners. A doctoral degree and three or more years of college-level teaching experience are preferred.
