Associate General Counsel, Regulatory & Commercial

The Company is in search of an Associate General Counsel with a focus on regulatory and commercial matters. The successful candidate will be a key legal advisor on a range of issues, including product development, marketing, labeling, packaging, and commercialization. This role requires a strategic partner who can ensure compliance with U.S. regulatory requirements, advise on product claims and marketing practices, and develop scalable compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. degree, active bar membership, and at least 6 years of legal experience in regulatory, advertising, marketing, or consumer products matters, with a strong background in marketing regulatory review. Responsibilities for this position include serving as the primary legal advisor on regulatory matters, partnering with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on compliance, and monitoring regulatory developments that impact consumer products. The role also involves translating legal risks into actionable business guidance, enhancing internal compliance frameworks, and providing strategic counsel to senior leadership. The candidate should have a strong understanding of U.S. regulatory frameworks, experience in highly regulated consumer product environments, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders. Experience in global organizations and a background in beauty, personal care, wellness, or similar industries is preferred.
