Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer to spearhead the finance function and establish the necessary infrastructure for the platform's expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including FP&A, strategic planning, accounting, treasury, and controls across various entities. This role demands a hands-on real estate finance leader with a strategic perspective, capable of advising on planning and capital allocation, and experienced in producing the financial deliverables required by lenders and investors. The CFO will also play a key role in the firm's fundraising and capital markets efforts and must be adept at managing change and building a high-performing finance team. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA strongly preferred, and have at least 12 years' of progressive finance and accounting experience. The ideal candidate will have a background as a CFO, VP of Finance, Corporate Controller, or in a similar senior finance leadership role within a commercial real estate context. Experience in retail or shopping-center finance, particularly with complex joint venture structures and CAM recoveries, is highly valued. The role requires a strong technical command of GAAP and real estate accounting, as well as a proven track record of enhancing finance functions through improved controls, processes, and team development. Proficiency in Yardi is strongly preferred, and the candidate should possess advanced Excel skills, outstanding communication abilities, and executive presence.
