Managing Director, Diversified Industrials Investment Banking, Paper & Packaging

The Company is seeking a Managing Director to lead client engagement and business development in investment banking for the paper and packaging sector. Responsibilities include originating and executing mergers and acquisitions, equity, and debt transactions; coordinating deal execution with internal teams and external advisors; and partnering with industry and product specialists to deliver tailored financial solutions. The role also involves sharing market insights, pitching for new mandates, representing the organization at industry events, and leading client meetings. The Managing Director will mentor and supervise team members while helping shape the sector’s client coverage and strategy. Candidates must have at least 15 years of senior investment banking experience and a proven track record covering paper and packaging companies and financial sponsors. Strong written and verbal communication, advanced quantitative and analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize complex information and develop solutions under pressure are required.
