Head of Investment Risk, Credit Products

The Company is seeking a Head of Investment Risk to lead risk oversight across credit portfolios, including structured credit, private credit, leveraged loans, and high-yield investments. The role partners with portfolio managers on portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk positioning, while identifying emerging portfolio, credit, market, and liquidity risks. Responsibilities include developing risk frameworks and analytics, evaluating positions and portfolios, conducting scenario analysis and stress testing, and monitoring risk indicators and market developments. The successful candidate will provide independent recommendations, support risk analysis for new products and complex securities, present actionable insights to senior stakeholders, collaborate across functions, and develop junior team members. Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant investment, portfolio, or financial risk experience, ideally in a buy-side environment, and strong experience assessing credit portfolios, including structured credit. They should understand credit products such as asset-backed securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities, collateralized loan obligations, private credit, leveraged loans, and high-yield bonds. Required capabilities include portfolio construction and risk management expertise, quantitative and analytical strength, and experience with stress testing, value-at-risk, correlations, and concentration analysis. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Bloomberg, and Excel is required, along with the ability to communicate complex risk analysis to senior decision-makers; a relevant bachelor’s degree is required.
