About the Role
Greater New York City, NY Area (On-site)
The Company is seeking a Head of Marketing to take on a pivotal role in defining and establishing the company's brand, demand-generation strategy, and category narrative. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading the U.S. marketing function from the ground up, including hiring and developing the marketing team. This role demands a leader with a strong background in demand generation, events, partnerships, content, and brand positioning, and the ability to create a high-signal brand that resonates within the cybersecurity space. The Head of Marketing will also be tasked with owning the company's thought leadership across various channels, developing an event strategy, and creating targeted experiences to engage with buyers. A key aspect of the role is to partner closely with the sales team to support outbound efforts and to ensure that marketing strategies generate awareness and pipeline as the go-to-market organization scales. The ideal candidate for the Head of Marketing position at the company will have a background at the Director or Senior Director level in a broad marketing leadership role, with a proven track record of building and leading a marketing function. Experience in an early-stage or high-growth environment, particularly in the cybersecurity or related technical fields, is highly valued. The role requires a strategic thinker who can operate with significant independence, is comfortable working directly with founders and senior leadership, and is willing to remain hands-on while building the team and long-term marketing strategy. A strong understanding of how marketing supports enterprise sales and pipeline creation, as well as the ability to translate complex technology into messaging that resonates with enterprise buyers, is essential. The candidate should be based in the United States and be prepared to take on the challenge of creating a marketing function from zero, rather than inheriting an established team and playbook.
