Vice President, Absolute Return, Equity Strategy Team Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a VP/Principal for its Equity Strategy Team within the Absolute Return business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end diligence process of prospective hedge fund investments, with a focus on long-short and event-driven equity. This includes engaging with fund managers, conducting in-depth market research, and underwriting specific investments. The role also involves continuous monitoring of the existing portfolio, maintaining relationships with fund managers, and contributing to the strategic thinking that underpins the investment process. The ideal candidate will have a background in hedge fund investing, investment banking, equity research, or related fields, and will be expected to demonstrate strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills, as well as a deep understanding of equity markets.
