Vice President, Artificial Intelligence Engineer

The Company is seeking a Vice President, AI Engineer to take on a pivotal role in the design, development, and delivery of production-grade AI systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the architecture and delivery of various AI applications, including document intelligence, intelligent knowledge systems, conversational AI, and generative AI. This role demands a hands-on leader who can own AI projects from inception to deployment, drive technical design decisions, and ensure that AI capabilities meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and measurability. The VP AI Engineer will also be a key mentor and technical leader, partnering with business stakeholders, and championing best practices in AI/ML development. Applicants for the Vice President, AI Engineer position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in developing and deploying production AI/ML systems, with a strong background in cloud-native solutions. Proficiency in Python and a deep understanding of software engineering best practices are essential. The role requires expertise in building production AI solutions, including LLM applications, AI agents, and conversational AI, as well as experience in designing and operating end-to-end machine learning pipelines. A strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and AI system evaluation is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical design decisions, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering excellence, with a preference for those with experience in financial services or FinTech, particularly in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
