Vice President, C++ Developer, OMS Technology Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, C++ Developer, to design, develop, and support high-performance order management and electronic trading systems across the order lifecycle. Responsibilities include building low-latency applications, maintaining connectivity and market data integrations, and partnering with trading, product, operations, and risk teams to deliver functionality. The role also involves improving system performance and reliability, contributing to architecture and code reviews, and resolving complex production issues. This is a hands-on position supporting critical front-office systems. Candidates should have at least eight years of software engineering experience delivering electronic trading or front-office platforms, expert knowledge of modern C++, and strong Linux development skills. A deep understanding of concurrency, multithreading, distributed systems, order management, FIX, market data, smart order routing, execution workflows, and pre-trade risk controls is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential. Equities trading experience, familiarity with related trading platforms and technologies, low-latency optimization, technical leadership, and experience with AI-assisted engineering practices are preferred.
