Vice President, Content Delivery Networks Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Content Delivery Networks to join their Global Video Engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall strategy, design, and execution of content delivery for OTT products, ensuring the fidelity, quality, and availability of the delivery network for global audiences. This role requires a strategic leader with a minimum of 10 years' experience in managing large-scale digital software systems, and at least 5 years leading a CDN function. The VP will be tasked with devising and executing content delivery strategies, attracting and retaining a multi-national team of experts, and developing relationships with partner ISPs and telco industry to ensure performant access. Technical expertise in areas such as software security best practices, digital video codecs, and high-availability software patterns is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital media or direct-to-consumer video business, and a passion for leading a team of engineers to build world-class software systems. They should be adept at setting and governing CDN reliability, quality, and performance standards, and leading incident readiness for high-profile live events. The role also involves championing innovation in next-generation content delivery, driving vendor strategy, and ensuring security, compliance, and risk controls are embedded into CDN architecture. The VP will be expected to have strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead through influence, build trusted partnerships, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
