Vice President, Fixed Income Research

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Public Leveraged Finance Research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading fundamental credit research in high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and private credit, and will have a significant impact on investment performance. Key responsibilities include developing high-conviction investment recommendations, conducting detailed sector analysis, and owning the underwriting, security selection, and portfolio positioning within the covered industries. The role also involves close collaboration with portfolio managers and traders to identify alpha-generating opportunities, as well as engaging in the due diligence process with various market participants. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' credit research experience, with a proven track record in making successful investment recommendations. Deep expertise in leveraged finance, particularly in high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and private credit, is essential. The role requires strong fundamental credit underwriting and analytical skills, the ability to independently cover sectors, and a talent for generating differentiated investment views. Excellent communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for credit markets are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA and/or CFA being preferred, and should be adept at leveraging AI tools to enhance research efficiency and investment insight generation.
