The Company is seeking a Vice President, Legal, to advise its investment banking business on legal, policy, reputational, and commercial matters. Responsibilities include supporting securities, lending, and mergers and acquisitions transactions; advising on transaction structure and execution; reviewing and negotiating documents; assessing legal and reputational risks; and coordinating with clients and external counsel. The role also involves advising on regulatory developments, business practices, policy implementation, training, and new product development. The successful candidate will help resolve complex legal and policy issues and support efficient transaction execution. Candidates must be qualified lawyers with at least five years of experience and strong knowledge of securities, mergers and acquisitions, lending, and corporate finance law and practice. The role calls for sound judgment and the ability to weigh legal, policy, reputational, and commercial considerations.
