The Company is seeking a General Counsel specializing in labor law to lead its employment law team and coordinate legal colleagues across domestic and international operations. Responsibilities include steering global labor law projects and strategy, advising HR teams on individual and collective employment matters, and managing employment-related disputes. The role also involves monitoring legal developments, ensuring compliant and practical implementation, and drafting and maintaining employment contracts and HR documents. The General Counsel will deliver training, support negotiations with employee representatives, and communicate complex legal issues clearly to varied audiences. Candidates must hold a full legal qualification with strong state examination results; specialist certification in labor law is an advantage. Several years of relevant experience as in-house counsel or in a commercially focused law firm, ideally with international exposure, are required. Applicants should bring deep expertise in German individual and collective labor law, collective bargaining law, related social law, and international employment matters. Experience negotiating with employee representatives, along with strong advisory, negotiation, and communication skills, strategic judgment, teamwork, and a pragmatic, diplomatic, and assertive approach, is essential.
