Vice President of Food Safety & Quality Assurance

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Food Safety & Quality Assurance to provide enterprise leadership in the development and execution of food safety and quality strategies that align with business growth objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing food safety and quality organization, establishing performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with a range of regulatory requirements. This executive-level role is pivotal in supporting the company's growth, innovation, and operational excellence, with a strong focus on delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality products. The VP will also be the senior authority on food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and risk management, and will lead crisis management and product incident response efforts to protect consumers and brand reputation. Applicants for the Vice President of Food Safety & Quality Assurance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in food safety and quality within manufacturing environments. The role requires a deep knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, including FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, and GFSI standards, as well as a proven track record in leading enterprise-wide FSQA programs.
