Vice President of Operations

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to guide its commercial construction business units, strengthen operational performance, and support profitable growth. The role involves leading business-unit meetings, setting and monitoring performance metrics, and driving strategic and tactical goals through to completion. The successful candidate will improve processes, use data and analytics to inform decisions, resolve operational barriers, and promote a customer-focused approach. They will also mentor leaders, support risk management and problem-solving, and foster a collaborative, accountable culture focused on continuous improvement. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, and have 10–15 years of operations leadership experience in a large construction company. They should bring experience leading operational leaders and multidisciplinary teams, along with strong knowledge of construction operations, business processes, and industry practices. The role requires strategic and analytical thinking, sound decision-making, and a record of improving operational systems and supporting profitable growth. Strong communication, customer relationship, coaching, and change leadership skills are also essential.
