Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Greater Ottawa, Canada Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic and operational leadership to a complex, multidisciplinary organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will guide the organization through changing community needs, health system priorities, and funding realities while building on its strengths. Responsibilities include financial stewardship, human resources, governance, and fostering an inclusive, healthy workplace culture. The CEO will strengthen partnerships, support staff and community collaboration, and champion accessible, equitable, high-quality health and social services. Candidates must have a master’s degree or post-graduate education and at least five years of senior management experience, preferably in the nonprofit, NGO, or health sector. Experience working with a community board and committee structure is required, along with knowledge of financial management, human resources, program development and evaluation, strategic planning, labour law, and current management issues. Applicants should understand community governance, health promotion, health systems, and current health reform, and bring strong interpersonal, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills. Advanced French oral and reading comprehension, advanced spoken French, and fluency in written and spoken English are required.
