Chief Operating Officer (COO), SFS Greater Paris, France Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and transform its SFS Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the Operations organization, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of KYC, AML, Banking Operations, and Payment Operations. This role also involves optimizing and transforming the operating model, with a focus on automation, scalability, and building a highly reliable organization. The COO will manage a team of approximately 15 employees and will be instrumental in coordinating operations across European, UK, and US businesses. A hands-on leadership style is essential, as is the ability to lead change in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment. Candidates for the COO position should have a background as a senior operations leader, with significant experience in managing Operations, Middle Office, or Back Office teams. The ideal profile includes a strategic and hands-on approach, strong people management and organizational capabilities, and a proven track record of process improvement and operational performance. Experience in a regulated, risk-sensitive, or operationally complex organization is required, with a preference for those with a background in payments, banking operations, KYC, AML, fraud, reconciliation, or card operations. The role demands a leader with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, who is confident in interacting with senior leadership, governance bodies, auditors, and external partners.
