Associate Vice President & Controller

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President and Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting for a major projects group. Responsibilities include overseeing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and the month-end close, while supporting projects from bidding through completion. The role also covers joint venture accounting, internal controls, regulatory reporting, and audit coordination. The successful candidate will lead and develop accounting staff, implement accounting initiatives, and partner with corporate finance, operations, and project teams. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and at least seven years of relevant experience. Strong hands-on accounting expertise and experience in construction, manufacturing, or another project-based environment are required. Applicants should understand financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, GAAP, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and have experience managing accounting teams. A CPA and Canadian accounting or business experience are preferred.
