Managing Director, Real Estate Greater Plano, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Managing Director, Real Estate to lead and actively participate in originating, underwriting, structuring, and closing lending opportunities. The role involves managing investment teams across multiple transactions, conducting due diligence, assessing value, negotiating and documenting deals, and coordinating with counterparties and external advisors. The Managing Director will prepare and present transaction materials for senior leadership and committee review, monitor existing investments in collaboration with internal teams, and train and develop team members. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, accounting, or an equivalent field, along with at least 15 years of direct lending experience; bilateral lending experience is preferred. Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, accounting, research, and quantitative skills are required, as is proficiency in Excel. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record, sound management and interpersonal abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They should also be organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, proactive, and effective both independently and as part of a team.
