Group Head of IT

The Company is seeking a Group Head of IT to lead technology strategy and operations across a multi-country, multi-entity organization. The role will establish the technology roadmap and governance framework, strengthen cybersecurity and operational resilience, and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity. Responsibilities include modernizing digital channels, enterprise systems, infrastructure, and workforce technology; managing vendors and outsourced services; and building a capable, high-performing technology team. The successful candidate will also advise executive and board-level leaders, translating technology risks and investment needs into practical decisions. Candidates should bring proven senior technology leadership experience and a track record of materially improving cybersecurity and resilience. They need hands-on expertise in identity and access management, security architecture, monitoring, vulnerability management, infrastructure, and backup and recovery, along with experience responding to significant incidents or outages. Strong vendor governance, commercial judgment, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate technical issues to senior leaders are essential. The role also calls for demonstrated team development, cultural intelligence, and adaptability in a complex, multi-country environment; financial services or regulated-industry experience is advantageous.
