The Company is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with a focus on Python and AI to join a pioneering team dedicated to revolutionizing the end-to-end credit risk model development lifecycle. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the design, build, and deployment of a cutting-edge, agentic AI platform that leverages Large Language Models and intelligent workflows to enhance the productivity and governance of quantitative modelers. This hands-on role requires the engineer to work closely with quantitative analysts and key stakeholders to shape high-impact use cases and to take end-to-end ownership of platform modules, driving them to completion with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include building proofs-of-concept, designing production-grade Python components, and championing engineering best practices. Applicants must have a graduate degree and a minimum of 8-12 years' of extensive software engineering experience, with a deep proficiency in Python and its ecosystem. A strong background in backend and systems fundamentals, including REST APIs, SQL, and Unix-based environments, is essential. The role also demands a technical influence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate globally. Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in quantitative finance, risk management, or Model Risk Management, is a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will have a strong appetite for learning and applying generative AI concepts and be adept at keeping pace with the rapidly evolving GenAI and LLM landscape.
