Associate Vice President, QA Senior Engineer Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Senior Engineer with a focus on QA and Automation to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing engineering solutions that meet business goals, with a strong emphasis on maintainability, ease of testing, and integration into the end-to-end business process flow. This role requires a creative and proactive thinker who can develop and maintain extensible automation scripts and assets, ensuring they conform to industry best practices. The Senior Engineer will also be involved in automation framework design, work with the development team to challenge application design, and capture reusable automated test cases. Hands-on software development, experience in Agile and Scrum, and strong communication skills are essential. Applicants for the Senior Engineer position should have a minimum of 5 years' of relevant automation experience and possess strong programming skills in Cucumber, Java, Kotlin, and Python. Experience in BDD and UI test automation using React, as well as a solid understanding of database and SQL, is required. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, debugging, and have a proactive, assertive attitude. Knowledge of the investment banking domain and experience with emerging technologies such as cloud and AI tools is a plus. A degree in engineering or a related field is necessary, and industry experience in finance, risk, and treasury domains is desirable. The role demands a disciplined individual with excellent time management skills, who is proactive and has a good sense of responsibility.
