Associate Vice President, Tax Operations Technology & Automation Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is in search of an Operations Expert, Assistant Vice President to join their National Tax Operations Team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the technical support and enhancement of tax operational processes through technology, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role demands a professional with a strong operational mindset, a passion for leveraging technology to drive efficiency, and the ability to bridge the gap between tax operations requirements and technology solutions. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and enhancing automation solutions using a range of technologies, reading and modifying code, analyzing processes for improvement opportunities, and designing technical solutions to reduce manual effort and strengthen operational controls. Applicants should have a degree in a relevant discipline and possess strong hands-on experience in Python programming, advanced VBA development skills, and the ability to work with XML structures. Experience in asset management, investment operations, or related environments is advantageous, as is a background in automation frameworks, workflow tools, or low-code platforms. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. A continuous improvement mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are essential. The ideal candidate will also have a proven ability to leverage AI tools for business problem-solving and a strong understanding of operational workflows, controls, and process governance.
