Vice President, IT Product Owner Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, IT Product Owner to lead product strategy and delivery for a strategic data warehousing platform transition to a cloud environment. Responsibilities include defining and communicating the product vision and roadmap, translating business and regulatory needs into prioritized work, and coordinating feature development, integrations, migration milestones, and decommissioning plans. The role tracks progress, resolves blockers, aligns stakeholders, and supports business readiness, user adoption, and training. It also provides guidance to distributed teams, promotes effective Agile practices and continuous improvement, and ensures adherence to testing standards, including opportunities for automation. Candidates should have at least 10 years of product ownership or product management experience in Agile environments and at least 8 years working on cloud-based data warehousing projects. Required expertise includes data warehousing concepts, cloud data platforms and related technologies, backlog prioritization, and strong stakeholder management; experience delivering large-scale regulatory, risk, data, or transformation programs is important. Finance domain knowledge, Agile testing, and familiarity with project collaboration tools are advantageous. Applicants should demonstrate analytical, communication, mentoring, and teamwork skills, along with responsible use of AI tools to improve productivity. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent field is required; relevant product or business analysis certifications are a plus.
