Vice President, Operations Audit Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Senior Auditor for Operations Audit. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and participating in complex operations audits, from planning to reporting. This role requires the ability to coach and mentor junior team members, as well as the skill to identify and address significant issues impacting business and operations. The Vice President, Senior Auditor will also be expected to prepare draft audit reports, follow up on audit actions, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. A deep understanding of global operations, custody services, and payments is essential, and the role involves contributing to the development of the annual audit plan and staying abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements. To excel in this position, candidates should have 8-15 years of experience in financial services or banking, with a focus on internal audit or second-line risk. A Master's degree or equivalent, with a preference for a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, is required. Professional certifications such as MBA, CPA, CFA, or related are also preferred. The role demands strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in audit methodologies, and Microsoft software, and a proven track record of auditing operations functions within a financial institution are key qualifications for this role.
