Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Services

The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Corporate Real Estate Services to lead the global real estate and workplace strategy for its large-scale, multinational organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing a diverse portfolio of leased facilities across more than 50 countries, ensuring that real estate decisions align with corporate strategy, financial objectives, workforce needs, and the operational environment that supports clinical research. This role demands a leader who can drive portfolio optimization, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation, particularly during periods of growth, contraction, and organizational change. Key responsibilities include overseeing global operational standards, managing substantial operating and capital budgets, and leading workplace transformation initiatives that support hybrid and future-of-work models. Candidates for this role at the company should have a BA/BS in business, finance, real estate, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years' progressive corporate real estate or facilities management experience in multinational settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in global portfolio strategy, financial stewardship, workplace operations, and organizational change, as well as experience in managing large, geographically dispersed teams and interacting with executive and C-suite leadership. The role requires a professional with the ability to balance cost efficiency, employee experience, customer experience, compliance, and business growth, and who is adept at tailoring communication to different audiences. A deep understanding of the accounting implications of real estate decisions and a proven track record in leading real estate portfolios through various organizational phases are highly valued.
