President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer to lead its strategy, operations, financial stewardship, and organizational growth. Working with the board, the CEO will set long-term priorities, strengthen membership and engagement, diversify revenue, and guide the organization through continued integration and change. The role also includes leading staff and volunteers, fostering an inclusive and accountable culture, and building relationships with members, partners, and other stakeholders. The CEO will oversee the relevance and performance of programs and events while representing the organization and its profession as a trusted public voice. Candidates should bring senior executive leadership experience in an association, nonprofit, membership-based, or other mission-driven organization, along with a record of leading strategy, growth, operational improvement, and significant change. Strong financial and business acumen, including budget oversight and revenue development, is required, as are skills in communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, emotional intelligence, collaboration, and the ability to build trust and navigate conflict. A Certified Association Executive designation is preferred; experience leading integrations or acquisitions is an advantage.
