Vice President of Strategy Greater San Antonio, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategy to provide enterprise leadership in the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of its multi-year strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating organizational priorities into actionable plans, performance measures, and decision-support processes. This role involves leading strategic planning across a large service area, collaborating with executive and departmental leadership to ensure alignment with strategic direction, and providing strategic analysis and recommendations to support decision-making at all levels. The VP of Strategy will also be involved in performance management, strategic reporting, and overseeing major strategic initiatives. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years' experience in strategy or a related discipline, with a proven track record in enterprise-wide strategic planning and performance management. Strong business and financial acumen, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to influence and align teams are essential. The role requires a leader with a strategic and systems thinking approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Experience in healthcare, public health, philanthropy, or other mission-driven organizations is preferred, as is a background in leading organizational transformation or significant change initiatives. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
