The Company is in search of an Associate General Counsel to join its product counseling team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice to internal product, operations, and business teams, with a primary focus on identifying and mitigating global legal risks. This role is pivotal in the intersection of product and privacy, requiring the development and application of legal frameworks to new and innovative products and services. Key responsibilities include analyzing products, policies, and initiatives to offer practical legal risk mitigation strategies, providing legal advice on a wide range of subject areas, and supporting privacy and data protection compliance initiatives. Applicants must have a J.D. degree and be a member of at least one US state bar, with a minimum of 8 years' legal experience. The role demands a high level of independence, the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and experience in cross-functional collaboration. Preferred qualifications include a demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools, experience in advising on risk mitigation across technology product platforms, and in-house experience at a technology company.
