Chief of Maintenance Greater Seattle, WA Area

The Company is seeking a Chief of Maintenance to lead maintenance operations across its hotels and help ensure guests enjoy a safe, comfortable stay. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervising maintenance staff; managing daily operations, schedules, inventory, and budgets; and performing repairs and preventive maintenance while inspecting completed work. The role also oversees sustainability and safety programs, troubleshoots building systems and equipment, and assists guests while collaborating with other teams. Candidates should have at least three years of progressive facilities management experience in a hotel or related field, or a two-year college degree and one year of related management experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations, and general maintenance. Strong leadership, communication, listening, problem-solving, and organizational skills are important, as is the ability to prioritize tasks, handle physical work, and maintain a courteous, service-oriented manner.
