Head of QA

The Company is seeking a Head of QA to lead and mentor a large software quality assurance team. Responsibilities include designing and executing test plans, test cases, and scripts; overseeing quality governance and the Quality Management System; and defining quality gates across the software development lifecycle. The role directs application testing, test coverage, automation, and defect management, while embedding controls into continuous integration and delivery pipelines. The successful candidate will drive root-cause analysis and defect prevention, manage quality engineering tools, budgets, and vendors, and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to assess risks and report actionable metrics to senior leadership. Candidates should have at least 10 years of software QA experience and a proven record of managing a team of 30 or more people. Experience with automation testing is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required; no additional qualifications are specified.
