Vice President, Enterprise GenAI Backend Engineer, Group Technology & Ops Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking a senior backend engineer to build and improve production-grade generative AI applications for enterprise users. Responsibilities include developing agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, and prompt orchestration, and integrating AI applications with enterprise systems, APIs, and data sources. The role also involves designing for reliability and maintainability through testing, evaluation, logging, tracing, fallback behavior, and troubleshooting. The engineer will collaborate across application, data, platform, security, and infrastructure teams, and contribute practical design recommendations through production delivery. Candidates should have at least six years of software engineering experience and hands-on experience delivering production-grade generative AI applications, not only prototypes. Strong skills with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar orchestration frameworks, along with practical knowledge of RAG, agentic workflows, tool calling, and context management, are required. Applicants should also bring backend development experience in Python, Java, or similar languages, and understand API design, distributed systems, production resilience, and observability. Familiarity with container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift, clean and testable coding practices, strong debugging skills, and the ability to communicate and adapt in a fast-moving environment are important.
