Associate Vice President, Application Developer, Global Financial Markets Technology, Group Technology Greater Singapore Area

The Company is in search of an experienced Technical Lead for the role of Associate Vice President, Application Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of application developers to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade digital solutions that support global financial markets. This role requires a focus on full-stack application development, system integration, API enablement, and the use of cloud-native technologies. The Technical Lead will also be tasked with driving the technical roadmap, system architecture, and design patterns to ensure the scalability, security, and high performance of the applications. Applicants must have a strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, messaging platforms, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns. The role demands the ability to review solution design, architecture, and source code at a detailed technical level, as well as experience with cloud-native architectures, containerization technologies, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, and be adept at working across cross-functional teams. Hands-on technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and cloud platforms is essential, including experience with REST APIs, Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. The Technical Lead will also be expected to mentor and coach team members, ensuring adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.
