Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal business leadership role within its Singapore-based finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including but not limited to, controls, reporting, and forecasting. This role also involves direct collaboration with the commercial team on customer pricing, contract negotiations, and serving as the financial lead on significant investment decisions. The CFO will be expected to build and challenge business cases for capital and project spending, and ensure that the management reporting is in line with the company's evolving priorities. A key aspect of the position is the oversight of the full finance remit, from planning and budgeting to cost accounting, treasury, tax, and internal controls. Additionally, the role includes a strong focus on team development, from individual coaching to restructuring the finance team as the business grows. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a substantial background in senior finance leadership, typically with 15 years or more of experience, in electronics manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex operational businesses. The role requires a proven track record in negotiating with customers and managing pricing and deal approvals. Depth of experience in FP&A, controllership, and cost accounting is essential. The ideal candidate will possess clear and confident communication skills, the ability to influence senior executives, and a genuine commitment to building and developing their team. A degree in accounting, finance, or business, along with a recognized professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent), is also a necessary qualification for this position.
