Vice President, Payments Operations & Controls Greater Southampton, United Kingdom Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Payments Operations & Controls to support change and event-related activities, map data across business, risk, control, and data domains, and advance the operations control agenda. Responsibilities include managing controls for strategic projects, conducting root cause analysis, implementing preventive actions, and reviewing processes to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency. The role partners with risk, compliance, audit, product, technology, and finance teams to support integrated risk management, regulatory compliance, and timely remediation of findings. The Vice President will also lead independent control testing and help ensure business resiliency plans are adequate and regularly tested. Candidates should have proven risk and control management experience in payments operations, treasury services, or a similar financial services environment. Strong knowledge of change management, regulatory frameworks, compliance, risk controls, and corporate policies is required, along with analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, or Power BI, and the ability to apply AI and machine learning to operational risk analytics, are also expected. Experience leading global strategic operations projects and familiarity with payments and treasury services are preferred.
