Executive Director, Real Estate Asset Management Greater St. Louis, MO Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Real Estate Asset Management to lead its commercial mortgage loan asset management and surveillance team. Responsibilities include overseeing loan servicing, risk ratings, modifications, special servicing, maturity tracking, and real estate-owned assets, while developing policies, procedures, controls, and reporting processes. The role serves as a key contact for borrowers, service providers, auditors, and internal stakeholders, and leads workflow, projects, and improvements to loan management systems and data processes. The Executive Director also manages team hiring, training, coaching, performance, and resource allocation, while ensuring accurate loan and property records, payment monitoring, and regulatory compliance. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred. Required experience includes at least 10 years in commercial real estate loan servicing and 5–7 years in leadership or management, including experience leading medium to large teams and projects. The role requires advanced knowledge of commercial mortgage lending and loan tracking systems, along with intermediate Word and Excel skills. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, project management, negotiation, customer relationship, and change management abilities are essential.
