This role is pivotal in providing clear financial leadership during transitional periods, change initiatives, or when there is a need to enhance governance and monitoring within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for both strategic and operational aspects, with the specific focus and mandate varying based on the client's situation. Key responsibilities include leading and developing a business control function, establishing structures for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and follow-up, providing relevant decision-making support to management, and contributing to the development of KPIs, control models, and reporting processes. Applicants for the Interim Head of Business Control position should have a strong background in business control, with experience in leading or developing a control function, a team, or business-related financial work. The role requires a candidate who is adept at financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and who can communicate economic concepts clearly and pedagogically.
