Head of Supply Chain & Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Supply Chain and Operations to join its Senior Leadership Team. This pivotal role involves taking ownership of an international end-to-end supply operation, with a focus on leading supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and distribution activities across a global manufacturing network. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of products from the factory to the customer, meeting OTIF targets, and maintaining high standards of quality and service. Key responsibilities include managing production schedules, monitoring progress with international partners, leading QA and inspection processes, overseeing warehouse and logistics operations, and managing international freight in line with cost and service requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain or operations management within an international manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of international logistics, freight, and production timelines, particularly across Asia and Europe. They should possess excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills, and be adept at stakeholder management. A hands-on approach, a focus on accuracy, process control, and continuous improvement, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing SME environment, are essential. The role also requires the ability to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice, and to work closely with the planning function to ensure alignment between supply planning and execution.
