Chief Information Officer (CIO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead its information technology function and advise senior leadership on technology, digital transformation, data, and artificial intelligence. The CIO will shape and implement a multi-year digital strategy, oversee technology investments and suppliers, and ensure digital services are secure, resilient, cost-effective, and responsive to user needs. Responsibilities include advancing responsible AI adoption, improving data and knowledge management, strengthening cybersecurity and business continuity, and modernizing service delivery. The role also involves leading and developing multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration across the organization, and representing it in relevant external discussions. Candidates must have at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in technology and digital management, including substantial leadership in a large, complex organization, and experience leading significant transformation from strategy through implementation and adoption. They should have managed multidisciplinary teams, substantial budgets, technology portfolios, and external suppliers, with strong expertise in cybersecurity, technology risk, IT governance, architecture, and service management. Experience with data management and AI in organizational transformation is required. A master’s degree in information technology or a relevant field is required, though this may be waived with at least 12 years of relevant experience. Very good knowledge of English or French and good knowledge of the other language, or the ability to acquire it rapidly, is also required.
