Senior Vice President of Finance

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Finance to provide executive leadership for financial strategy, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, grants finance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across a complex, multi-entity organization. The role oversees financial operations, reporting, cash flow, internal controls, audits, tax filings, and grant compliance, while advising senior leadership and the Board on financial performance, resource allocation, investments, and risk. The SVP will lead and develop the finance team, strengthen financial systems and processes, and ensure accurate, timely reporting across affiliated entities. The position also partners with departments and external stakeholders to support organizational planning and financial sustainability. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree and active CPA designation are preferred. At least 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience is required, including five years leading finance teams in a senior or executive capacity. Applicants should bring substantial nonprofit or similarly complex organization experience, including expertise in GAAP, grant compliance, federal Uniform Guidance, indirect cost rate negotiations, subrecipient monitoring, and multi-entity financial reporting. Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, treasury, risk management, board-level communication, and team development are essential, along with advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and familiarity with multi-entity ERP platforms.
