Head of Project & Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Project & Operations to oversee and lead its modernisation and new installation operations. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping delivery standards, enhancing team capabilities, and driving performance across a diverse project portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall function, including project execution, site management, testing, commissioning, and handover. Key duties involve owning delivery performance across various metrics, developing the operations team, driving productivity and efficiency improvements, and ensuring compliance with regional and global operations standards. Candidates for the Head of Project & Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline, with a strong background in elevator and escalator equipment, construction, installation, and modernisation. Solid experience in project management, site operations, and supervisory management is essential, along with a proven track record of leadership at a department-head level. The role requires strong commercial acumen, planning, and cost-control awareness, as well as excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. A proactive, results-oriented, and collaborative leadership approach is a must, as is fluency in Mandarin/Chinese and strong English language skills.
