The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to take ownership of its security program, with a focus on strategy, risk, compliance, and incident response. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a SecOps engineer, partnering with the VP of R&D on application security, and working with legal and IT on identity, access, and compliance. This role requires a deep understanding of security operations, including cloud security, edge protection, and incident response, as well as the ability to build and maintain security programs in collaboration with engineering leaders. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a cloud-native tech company. Key requirements include hands-on knowledge of AWS security, experience with GCP, and a proven track record in incident response and security audits. The ideal candidate will also have experience in application security, be adept at explaining security risks to executives, and have a strong technical background. Familiarity with AI agents for security automation and experience in gaming, fintech, or payments security are considered advantageous. The role demands a proactive approach to security culture, including the development of policies and training programs that are practical and effective.
