Vice President, Information Technology Greater Washington D.C. Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Information Technology to serve as the senior technology leader, responsible for developing and executing a multi-year enterprise IT strategy that aligns with the organization's clinical development and commercialization plans. The successful candidate will be a strategic and hands-on leader, overseeing the full IT portfolio, including enterprise applications, infrastructure and cloud services, cybersecurity, data and analytics, and digital enablement. This role requires a strong background in technology leadership, particularly in high-growth or highly regulated environments, and experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or healthcare is strongly preferred. The VP, IT will also be tasked with guiding the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance business processes and create value. Candidates for the Vice President, Information Technology position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced technical degree or MBA preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive technology leadership experience. The role demands a proven track record in building and executing technology roadmaps, modernizing systems, and scaling IT capabilities. Strong knowledge of regulated technology environments, including experience with FDA regulations, ISO 27001, and public company or Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in establishing commercialization-ready technology and data capabilities across various business functions and a demonstrated ability to implement data, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
