Vice President of Legal Affairs

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Legal Affairs to provide day-to-day legal support to executive and operational teams. Responsibilities include advising on routine business, employment, contract, and regulatory matters; drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements; and coordinating legal work with outside counsel. The role also supports litigation coordination, corporate records and governance, and practical legal training for staff. The successful candidate will partner with compliance and operational leaders, escalating significant or high-risk matters for further direction. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of The Florida Bar, or eligible for immediate admission as Authorized House Counsel. At least 10 years of progressive legal experience is required, including work involving healthcare, senior living, employment, contracts, or regulated operations. Strong legal writing, issue-spotting, negotiation, and matter-management skills are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with executives, operational teams, regulators, and outside counsel.
