Vice President & Actuary, Valuation Remote (anywhere in Bermuda)

The Company is seeking a Vice President and Actuary, Valuation, to support senior valuation leadership with data, models, and insights that strengthen reporting capabilities. Responsibilities include leading solvency and capital reporting, producing executive and quarterly reporting materials, and developing dashboards for leadership and risk committees. The role also oversees actuarial analysis of liability cash flows and technical provisions, supports pricing and risk initiatives, and contributes research for regulatory consultations. The successful candidate will improve and automate data workflows and collaborate with colleagues across finance, operations, asset-liability management, pricing, and valuation. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, be a Fellow of a recognized actuarial professional body, and have at least six years of valuation experience and ten years of relevant actuarial experience. Strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts and methods, advanced communication and analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions are required. Applicants should demonstrate sound prioritization, adaptability, process improvement skills, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines. Preferred qualifications include expertise in Bermuda capital and solvency reporting, economic balance sheet frameworks, and solvency assessment analysis, along with actuarial team leadership experience.
