Head of Japan Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Japan Operations to take on a pivotal role as a founding member of the Japanese business. The successful candidate will be tasked with the comprehensive responsibility of building the business from the ground up, including establishing and nurturing relationships with strategic OEM partners, driving sales growth, and leading new business development. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong customer and industry network in the domestic market, particularly in the fields of life sciences, diagnostics, chromatography, mass spectrometry, and lab automation. The Head of Japan Operations will also be involved in technical proposals, leading business and contract negotiations, and managing sales activities, all while closely collaborating with overseas teams. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field, with an academic or professional background in sales, marketing, or related areas. Fluency in Japanese and business-level English is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in an international business environment, with a preference for those who have a background in OEM business, laboratory automation, and technologies such as GC-MS and LC-MS.
